Halloween costumes attract both young and old alike. Costume parties are the most enjoyable part of the Halloween festivities. Traditionally, Halloween costumes were modeled after supernatural figures such as ghosts, monsters, skeletons, witches, vampires and devils. Nowadays, costumes are widely varied with themes extending to the realms of the wildest possible imagination. Costumes representing popular characters from films, and fiction books including generic archetypes such as ninjas, aliens etc. are increasingly in demand for the Halloween night. In addition, the trend of costume selection recently has broadened to include celebrities and international figures as well.
It has been observed that the latest trend is to look for a costume for the Halloween party which is unique and uncommon. It is not necessary that a Halloween outfit should invariably look scary. More and more people especially girls are nowadays opting for a completely non scary look in their costume for the much anticipated Halloween night.
